Mini Sweet Peppers.
If you’re like me, you have these on hand at all times. For humans, they’re fantastic for cooking AND for snacking. It’s not different for gliders and you may be surprised to find that they like these!
You will generally find small and large bags of these peppers in the produce section of the grocery. Some higher end chains will have them out to where you can purchase by the pound. If this is the case, you will want to find firm peppers, without wrinkles and blemishes. I always buy the large bag of these at the store because a) we feed them often and b) they keep SO well (and for long periods of time) in the freezer. You do not need to chop them prior to storing in the freezer. Simply toss them whole, into a Ziploc freezer bag.
Preparation is simple – either pop them in the cage whole, if your gliders like the thrill of the hunt LOL, or chop them into pieces. The little seeds are not harmful and are not hot, though your gliders will likely not eat them.
