Going to deviate a little from the FRUITS and VEGETABLES and discuss something that everyone should be feeding from time to time – EGGS.
Here in our home, we feed only cage free, non-antibiotic fed brown eggs. Regular white eggs are just fine, though. We feed scrambled eggs as a replacement for the usual staple mix, once or twice a week. They provide a great protein source and for those of you who don’t have a regular diet picked out, these are a great thing to feed until you DO decide!
For prep – fluff raw eggs with a fork in a microwavable container. For two gliders, one egg is more than enough. I have 24 gliders here and use 4 eggs. Place in the microwave, 30 seconds at a time, until done. Let cool and feed with fruits and vegetables!
